This is a piano arrangement of the Beatles “Yesterday.” We did this for the Jazz Class presenting different approaches to progressive arranging.
There’s no rhythm… just a rubato piano. The track was played a little slower so the students can hear and see the open chord structures. It would be modified a bit if recorded commercially.

There are many levels of progressive jazz. This interpretation showed preference to a “middle of the road progressive” so the listener can still appreciate the great melody of the Beatles.
